Besides stainless steel and aluminium racks, majority of storage racking are made of steel due to the cost efficiency.
While main construction of the rack is steel, the thickness of the material is crucial to determine the loading capacity. There are wide range of thickness for the beams, commonly available from 0.8mm to 1.5mm before coating.
Majority of the metal boltless storage rack will be powder coated with either paint or epoxy. Epoxy powder coated rack will be more durable.
There are also option to choose between metal or plywood shelving board.
Full metal boltless rack
- For highest specification model, we have box type metal shelving refers to the shelving metal plank pressed into 2.5cm thickness. (Currently the heaviest duty design in the market other than warehouse racking)
- For lower specification model, we have sit-in type metal shelving refers to the shelving metal plank sitting on the frame. The boltless pin is rivet type. (Currently this design is commonly available in lighter duty specification and it is paint coated)
Plywood boltless rack
- For highest specification model, we also have plywood shelving refers to the shelving plywood plank sitting on the metal frame. Our plywood is cut locally, selected as heavy plywood, with BB/CC grade to ensure the best quality for the plank. After cutting, every pieces will be sanded finish.
